Herb and Lisa are the best. So fair in pricing and reliable. Friendly caring and understanding. He came on Sunday to see what the problem, said he would be back in the morning with the part and showed up, put in what we needed, got our A/C back up and running and stayed to be sure all was working well. And his price was so fair. We had the same problem last year and had another company and they way overcharged us compared to Northern Air. I can't say enough good about them. Thank you Herb and Lisa.

Excellent service at reasonable cost

Called Northern Air for a 2nd opinion, and got an evaluation with a different diagnosis within a couple of hours. Herb gave a good explanation of what was wrong and why it was happening. Repair was done and pricing was dramatically better than was quoted by first company. We will definitely use Northern Air in the future, and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and neighbors!

Northern air is the best. Herb went above and beyond what I needed. He fought for my warranty, saved me a large number. I called him sometimes at 2am and he was at my house at 5:30 looking for that leak. Amazing technician and super reasonable pricing. I recommend Northern Air immediately to anyone. After getting a quote from the company that had sold and serviced my A/C unit seemed expensive and maybe unnecessary I decided to get other quotes. Northern Air was one whose name kept coming up both in internet reviews and also word of mouth so I gave them a call. Herb came out and explained everything in detail of what I did and didn't need and also that some of the work was still under warranty which my previous company failed to disclose. Their quote was also less and I now have a new part that was replaced under warranty.

Normally I do not write reviews.. but I felt compelled to do so...

Without going into great detail, Northern Air was refered to me by a patient of mine. Anthony fixed my 12 year old HVAC system and followed up with saying, "It looks good and its running well, keep running it and continue with maintenance twice a year."

Prior to Anthony coming out, I had 3 other well known companies service me over the last 6 years. All of them were pushing me to replace my system asap because my air handler and/or condensing unit were in bad shape. Misinforming me so they can make a sale and grab the commission.

It is hard to find honest, genuine, and highly knowledgeable men that own and run companies well. Anthony is all that and more!

Since the beginning, 3 months after Ian, we have worked with Herb the owner of Northern Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. He offered us a great price for a brand new air condenser and handler. The original system we had agreed on did not fit under my truces in the attic, so Herb went above and beyond and ended up getting me a higher seer unit above new implemented regulations. Unfortunately, six months later there was a manufacturing issue with the unit. 7:45 pm Herb answered the phone to listen what had happened. The next mooring he came out to evaluate unit, which had the compressor go out. He fought for us with the warranty people and ended up replacing the entire unit for a new one. On top of all that, so my family of seven did not have to melt away in the Florida heat, he dropped off two portable units to keep us from being too miserable in June.

I can nothing but recommend this company, their due diligence, service, and support is above anything I have seen in a very long time. I appreciate everything they have done for us and my family.

I highly recommend this company. Called them on a Sunday. They came right out. It was only a part to be replaced. They got it Monday and came out and in 20min my house was cooling. There prices are very affordable!! If you have to have your AC fixed Northern Air is who to call!!

I called Northern during the day on Friday as my HVAC stopped cooling. They stopped by same day to look at the unit and found out the TXV valve was bad. They also stated that my unit was only 5 years old and may still be under warranty for this part and they would find out as soon as the parts house opened up. They called me and the part was under warranty and all I would have to pay for is labor and any freon to get this system back up and running. They came out, installed the new TXV and cleaned out the condensate drain and checked my air filter. BTW on a side note the last owner of my house used another company which had them look at my HVAC first and they wanted to sell me a new HVAC system for 14,000 dollars. Northern fixed it for way less than 600 dollars.These guys were very professional and kept me in the loop on all repairs and did NOT try to sell me a new unit. I would not hesitate to use this company for all my HVAC repairs in the future.

My AC system was working but running very loudly. I am new to the area and was unsure who to contact. I received a recommendation for Northern Air. I am so glad I hired them! Herb was polite, professional, and punctual. He performed the maintenance on my system and discovered that the loud noise was due to some screws vibrating loose. He checked everything out and tightened the screws. He assured me that my AC brand is a good, reliable system. All is running smoothly. He only changed for a maintenance visit. I will definitely be contacting them again for my next maintenance or any other problems that arise. So great to find such a trustworthy company!!

Just moved into the new house to us. While the movers were bringing in the household items the doors were open most of the day and later in the evening, we noticed that the AC was no longer running. Panic time! Called Getnorthernair, he asked if there was any water in the drip pan under the AC unit? Yep full to the top! Told me over the phone how to drain the water out of the pan, check the saftey switches and it started working again! He told me will be by tomorrow and give the AC system a maintance check and found that the water drain line was clogged and was the problem. Serviced the unit and works great! He gave the unit a complete check up and all is well! Very satisfied and would highly recommend.

Where do I begin with these guys. Well I wish I would have started with them back in august of 2022 when my AC stopped working. I initially noticed my ac wasn't working via my app while I was in Chicago for the summer. My inside temp read 90 degrees and 88% humidity! I called the first company that came up on Google. They told me I needed more Freon and all would be back to normal. 800 bucks later and still not fixed! Next diagnosis they determined I needed new coils! And again more Freon! Another 1600 bucks total!

I called northern air and conditioning for a second opinion! Herb came out and said the coils could be repaired! And he gave me a great price on the Freon. He charged me just under 800 for the whole fix! I ended up not having to pay the first company that came out bc I was so irate with their price gouging and inability to efficiently fix the issue the way Northern air conditioning and heating did.

Fast forward to February 2023 I texted herb for a tune up. He responded almost instantly with an appointment set for the next day! Unheard of during season!

These guys have been in my house alone while I'm 1300 miles away! Very trustworthy! They are honest and accessible!

Herb Gales serviced my AC unit on a Sunday in Ave Maria. He is an honest businessman, explained to me the issue so that I could understand what happened, and educated me on what to do to prevent it from reoccurring. Highly recommend.

Devon and Herb responded quickly After I scheduled an appointment on their site. Schedule was at 9am and they were 5 minutes early. Did great work and were neat and clean while working very professional and honest. Did not try to sell me items that were not needed. Highly recommended

Devin did a great job getting our A/C unit back up and running. He also found and fixed a problem with the wiring in thermostat, not allowing the unit to run as efficiently as it could.

Answered the phone right away (big plus). Scheduled to come out 1 hour later. Promptly fixed the problem and AC is now working great. Professional, clean appearance and knowledgeable. Would use again.

I will be using Northern Air Conditioning And Heating Inc. going forward for all HVAC issues that may arise with my properties in the future. Not only was the price for the service call lower than competitors, but the customer service was exceptional. Devon was friendly, professional and knowledgeable on what the issue was. He went above the call of duty to clean out my HVAC unit when I didn't pay for this "maintenance" service. He stayed around to confirm that the unit was working correctly after fixing the issue and didn't dash out after this was done. He cleaned up after himself and left the areas he worked at cleaner than it was before. Pleasantly satisfied with my experience working with this company!

Called Devin after another HVAC company told me we had mold and needed expensive duct cleaning or a new a/c system. Devin showed me there was no mold and determined the system was fine. Learned a neighbor was also told he had mold by the same company and Devin also helped him. Devin also installed a new wi-fi thermostat and helped me program it. Could not be more pleased with the service and helpful information Devin provided. He saved me from making a very expensive mistake.

Devon was very professional, quick to be at my home to get my service up and running even after hours. He was courteous, provided helpful hints to ensure my system is maintained between maintenance appt and was very happy to explain the workings of the AC unit. Once meeting Devin it was easy to see he was the one who would treat my unit as though it was his own!

This was the first time I used Northern Air to do a 6 month maintenance and had the pleasure of working with Devin. He is extremely knowledgeable, thorough, on time and respectful. He came quite soon after I called having had my ductwork cleaned I wanted to have my air conditioner maintained ASAP but my normal service Company was unavailable for several weeks. I hired Northern Air Conditioning and Heating Inc. after getting eight quotes. I feel like the other companies rushed in, gave a number and left but not Northern Air. Northern Air came to the home, measured all my windows and doors to figure out exactly the right size unit I needed for my house. Explained what they'd be doing and what I'll be receiving in their install. The other companies may have been offering the same things but I wouldn't know because it was never explained to me. Once hired, Northern Air pulled all the permits needed with the municipality, installed everything to make it look neat and professional, and took the additional time to answer my questions of curiosity. I rehab several properties and told Northern Air that I'll be using them for all my properties in Southwest Florida from now on. If you're wanting a top-notch HVAC company that it genuinely grateful for your business and will install your HVAC system like it's their own then call Northern Air. You won't be disappointed, tell them Carl sent you ;)
